[blpsq035] Applied Research - Proven Extractions - Will Azada
INTRODUCTIONAPPLIED RESEARCH began as an experiment to reproduce the underlying mechanisms of technology-driven, repetitious sonic compisitions for channeling unique behavioral patterns via physical exertion and the induction of mental transcendance. Initial findings were surprisingly accurate at reproducing the documented effects of established products; however, a significant number of tests resulted in variations that provided evidence of naturally-occuring mutations...

[blpsq025] Relative Q - Removal EP
Put those synapses to work with these driving tracks from Pittsburgh-based Relative Q. Deep textures and spacey hypnotics indicate a lot of subtractive measures were taken to get those grooves removed from the mind of this ultrawizard and translated into audio sequences. This has been brewing on our hard drives for nearly a year, a release not afraid to take its time to unravel and meander its way through narrative soundscapes and mystical emotions. |[blpsq019] Revy feat. Aera - Windmill Watcher Remixes|
Some reflections take time to process. Windmill Watcher was first spawned as part of the first interpretations of an experience in Kosuge, Japan, ultimately released on the hibernating Stereo-Type netlabel. Over the course of the two years to follow, Revy recruited a handful of the bleepsequence crew to submit their own twisted takes on the source material: percussive field recordings, oddly pulsating synths, blaxploitation samples, and vocal work from Aera, who has also contributed the stunning...

[blpsq034] Revy - Drunk Aliens With Keytars
Revy's first encounter with this unruly jamband of extra terrestrials was in 2009. Upon returning to Earth, the collected data was throughly researched for several years, and with the help of his fellow crew mates to reanalyze, it was eventually collectively agreed upon that the field results were incomprehensible and utterly nonsensical. Naturally, it was a perfect piece for releasing on bleepsequence.

[blpsq020] V/A - waveforms
After countless hours of intensive sound warping research, the bleepsequence collective has reached new heights (and depths) of sonic modulation studies. The bleep team was tasked to look to the iconic shapes of sound waves for inspiration: square, sine, triangle, sawtooth. From there, the interpretations evolved dramatically and grew beyond human control in some cases, and finally the entire collection combined into a mind expanding milestone to mark twenty releases, and two years.
